Stocksfield
Players present
'I'll
Get My Man' - a farce by Philip King
If
rehearsals are anything to go by, the latest production by the Stocksfield
Players should bring the house down when it is presented at SICA at
7.30 pm on Thursday 26th, Friday 27th and Saturday 28th November.
This
classic farce is set in the traditional vicarage of the Reverend Arthur
Humphrey in the early 1960's. Arthur decides drastic action is required when his sister
Harriette puts him on a strict diet and fires the strong willed
housekeeper, Mrs Carter. Then
when Humphrey's television star nephew, Peter, arrives on the scene,
followed by adoring pop star, Pixie Potter, the situation becomes quite
ridiculous, not to mention hilarious.
Tickets
£7 adults (£5 under 16’s) are now on sale from SICA Office,
Stocksfield Central, Branch End News, Michael Allan on 01661 843183 or
online at
www.eventelephant.com/stocksfieldplayers.
The
production is suitable for all ages.
